I used to have a Louisiana license, but my license is expired. How do I renew and how much will it be?

If your license has been expired for less than 3 years (36 months) you must submit either a copy of your license, the renewal portion attached to your license or download, print and complete a lost renewal form along with the proper fee. See below examples of the fees IF YOU LIVE IN LA AND HAVE A LA ADDRESS
Expired 1 year $50.00 $25.00 license fee + $25.00 late fee
Expired 2 years $100.00 $25.00 license fee + $25.00 late fee
If you live out of state and/or have an out of state mailing address the above fees are doubled. Out of state renewals that are not late are $50.00 annually.
If your license has been expired for more than 3 years (36 months), you must take a restoration exam prior to restoring your license.  Please contact the board office at (225) 756-3404 ext 215 for appropriate fee and exam information.
