Notice: Transfering License to Louisiana
RESTORATION EXAM INFORMATION
In accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 37:590, any cosmetologist, manicurist, esthetician or instructor whose license has expired for a minimum of 3 years (36 months) is required to take an examination. The Board has elected to give a 25 question multiple-choice exam. The examination contains questions on general knowledge as well as subjects contained in the Administrative Rules Book.

The exams are given on testing dates (usually Monday or Tuesday) between the hours of 9:30 am and 1:00 pm
